BPA | Expoflores and Agrocalidad

Compliance with BPA certification is mandatory for applicable export sectors (flower and ornamental export does apply), through theResolution No. 038, in its Article 1.-:

"Establish mandatory implementation and certification of Good Agricultural Practices for suppliers of exporting companies in order to safeguard international trade in agricultural products."

EXPOFLORES and AGROCALIDAD signed a macro agreement harmonizing Flor Ecuador certification with the BPA scheme.

These approvals allow certified Ecuadorian flower companies to compete on equal terms in the world's most demanding markets, strengthening their reputation and commercial access.

Flor Ecuador Technical Committee

The Flor Ecuador Technical Committee is a regulatory advisory committee comprised of professional members of the floriculture sector and professionals specializing in areas of interest for the scope of the regulations.

Mission

The committee's purpose is:

To promote joint cooperation between member companies in the floriculture sector and experts with the goal of harmonious development of the standard.
Have a team technical to guide and advise on measures techniques to be specified in the regulations

Regulations of the Technical Committee
